We sure do love a good old fashioned block party. Come on down to the Rome City Green (at City Hall) from 3:30 - 8:30 pm and dance in the grass with us, The Action! and Annie In The Water. Rome is throwing this shindig to welcome over 500 cyclists and volunteers who are part of Parks and Trails New York's eight-day long Cycle the Erie Canal Tour that goes from Albany to Buffalo. There will be loads of food and beverage vendors, artists, craftspeople, local businesses and community groups with booths along Dominick Street. FREE and family friendly. The event is hosted by the City of Rome and the Rome Waterways and Trails Advocacy Group (RWTAG) with support from the Rome Chamber of Commerce.
